What WindTroubleshooter LLC provides to offshore wind operators and their marine contractors.

Operational weather forecasting

Hub-height wind speed and gust forecasts, sea state (significant wave height and period), temperature, visibility, and precipitation for offshore wind sites worldwide. Forecasts are presented against configurable GO / CAUTION / NO-GO thresholds and vessel-specific transfer limits (CTV and SOV), out to 72 hours and beyond.

Lightning detection and SMS alerting

Live lightning strike tracking around each site with 50 / 30 / 10-mile warning rings. Site administrators may enrol responsible personnel — with their consent — to receive text-message alerts when strikes approach a site, plus an all-clear message once the threat has passed. Recipients can stop messages at any time by replying STOP.

Marine and air traffic awareness

Live vessel positions (AIS) and aircraft positions around the wind farm, with route planning, waypoint arrival estimates, and approach alarms for transits between sites.

Site intelligence

A curated global index of offshore wind sites — planned, consented, under construction, and operational — with per-turbine and substation positions where published, and per-site operational consoles.

Reporting and accuracy

Daily operational reports, forecast-accuracy scoring against observations, and model-skill tracking over time.
